At Ivy Sisters, we are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information responsibly. As an IV infusion service provider, we collect and use information to deliver safe, personalized treatments. This Privacy Policy explains how we manage your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Health information is treated as "sensitive information" and given extra protection.
By using our website, booking services, or providing information to us, you consent to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not provide your information or use our services.
1. What Personal Information Do We Collect?
We collect only the information necessary to provide our IV infusion services. This includes:
Basic Contact Details: Your full name, email address, and phone number.

We collect this information directly from you via:
-
Online forms or bookings on our website.
-
In-person consultations or phone discussions.
-
Email or text correspondence.
We do not collect payment details (these are handled securely by third-party processors if applicable) or unnecessary data like social media profiles.
2. How Do We Use Your Information?
We use your information solely for legitimate purposes related to your care and our operations:
To manage and deliver your IV infusion plans, including scheduling appointments and tracking session progress.
-
To contact you via phone to check on your well-being post-infusion (e.g., to ensure you're feeling okay).
-
To send you important updates about your treatments or account.

We will not share your information with third parties for any other purpose, such as selling lists or data mining.
3. Marketing Communications
We may use your email address to send occasional marketing emails about new IV infusion options, wellness tips, or special offers that we believe may interest you.
Consent: We will only send marketing emails if you opt in (e.g., via a checkbox during booking). You can withdraw consent at any time.

Phone calls for marketing will not be made without your explicit permission.
4. Disclosure of Your Information
We do not disclose your personal information to any third parties, except in limited circumstances required by law:
-
To healthcare professionals directly involved in your care (e.g., if you refer to another provider).
-
If required by Australian law, such as a court order, subpoena, or mandatory reporting (e.g., for public health risks).
-
In emergencies to protect your life, health, or safety (e.g., contacting emergency services).
All disclosures are minimized and only include what's necessary. We do not transfer data overseas.
5. Storage and Security of Your Information
Your information is stored securely in Australia using:
Password-protected electronic systems with encryption for sensitive health data.
Access limited to our trained staff on a "need-to-know" basis, all bound by confidentiality agreements.
We retain records for at least 7 years after your last session (or longer if required by law), then securely destroy them. If you have concerns about a data breach, we will notify you and the OAIC as required.

6. Your Rights Regarding Your Information
Under the APPs, you have strong rights over your information:
Access: Request a copy of your information in writing (email ask@ivysisters.com.au). We will respond within 30 days, free of charge unless the request is complex.

Correction: If your information is inaccurate or outdated, let us know in writing—we'll update it promptly.

Anonymity: Where practical, you can interact with us anonymously or using a pseudonym (though we may need full details for health services).

Deletion: Ask us to delete your information once it's no longer needed for your care (subject to legal retention rules).

Complaints: If you believe we've mishandled your privacy, contact us first at ask@ivysisters or 0414 842 279. We'll investigate and respond within 30 days. If unsatisfied, complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.
